TURKEY TRADE CENTER / ALEPPO

Our center was established in 2006 in the city of Aleppo. At that time, following the Free Trade Agreements that came into effect between Turkey and some Middle Eastern countries, economic relations began to develop rapidly.

For these relationships to achieve their rightful place in the industrial and commercial sectors, it required not only government efforts but also individual initiatives and sacrifices. In this regard, we established the Permanent Exhibition and Marketing Center to facilitate such work. At later stages, we continued our activities under the name of Turkey Trade Center, actively engaging in trade to meet the needs of state factories and institutions. In this context, we began participating in government tenders, primarily with state-owned cement, sugar, milling, and chemical factories, as well as mines and ports.

By quickly surpassing all foreign countries that dominated the market in these sectors, the dominance of Turkish goods has been established.

Achieving success in a short time, the Turkey Trade Center (TTM) has won a total of 261 government tenders since its establishment, with 64 in 2006, 69 in 2007, 61 in 2008, and 67 in 2009. Since 2006, TTM has represented approximately 28 Turkish firms in the Middle East, achieving numerous firsts and introducing Middle Eastern companies, which had long relied on European manufacturers, to Turkish products.
